“The Ultimate Grant Checklist”
A Guide to Everything You Need to Develop a Successful Grant Proposal
Grant writing is a talent, and it requires a combination of specific skills to be most effective. Many non-profits rely on securing grants to continue their mission of serving their communities. Billions of dollars are awarded every year in the U.S. through corporate and foundational grants to non-profit organizations of all sizes. It is in your best interest as a non-profit to invest time in learning the tricks and tips of effective grant writing. This GCV Educates workshop is providing you with the opportunity to understand what funding organizations search for in grant proposals whether you’re the grant writer or in the process of hiring one.
Join the GCV Chamber and Nora Duffy, Director of Grants and Finance with the RAP Foundation, for an in-person workshop focused on grant proposals on Wednesday, March 27th at 1:00pm inside the RAP Foundation building. Nora comes from a high-tech background working with Fortune 500 companies in diverse industries including Microsoft, T-Mobile, Getty Images, and Avanade. For the last 10 years, Nora has owned her own business consulting firm and has specialized in non-profit management and has been an Executive Director at 2 Seattle non-profit organizations.
After the presentation, guests will have an opportunity to connect with the RAP Foundation team to gain more resources and possibly tour their facility!
