About Us

Movement for Life Physical Therapy (formerly Avid Physical Therapy) is the largest national employee owned physical therapy group of award winning private practitioners (Jane L Snyder National Private Practice of the Year). Our mission is to provide the highest level of physical therapy to the community, employers and their employees.Our Doctors of Physical Therapy are specialists in orthopedics, sports medicine, pain management, vestibular including balance and fall and employee work injuries. We have 3 accessible locations in Indio, Cathedral City and Loma Linda/San Bernardino. We are preferred providers for most insurance plans, medicare, worker compensation providers and reasonable self-pay rates.

Our mission is to educate and encourage our patients and the community to maintain movement for life to improve their quality of life. As part of that mission we support our local high schools, middle schools and colleges with internships, part time jobs, mentoring, lectures and scholarship benefits in order to continue to support and grow our next generation of medical and health professionals for the Inland Empire.
