Food Now’s Response to COVID-19
Food Now is the largest food pantry in the Coachella Valley and, as such, defined as an “essential business” (Executive Order N-33-20). During this time of uncertainty and crisis we want to make sure our clients and our community know we will continue to offer weekly supplemental food assistance for households and individuals living in and around the western part of the Coachella Valley.

Closing is not an option
Food Now has received hundreds of calls from the community, and elected officials wanting to make sure we remain open during the Corona Virus Epidemic. As a USDA recipient organization and a Feeding America partner agency, we will always remain open. Whether it be natural disaster, economic downturn or pandemic, we will remain open to make sure healthy and nutritious foods remain accessible and available at no cost to vulnerable populations who otherwise might not be able to afford to eat.
