My name is Jose Esparza, born in Los Angeles on March 31. I was raised in a unique environment—my father served in Mexico’s R.P.G., a cartel counter-operative unit, and my mother was a journalist for Ovaciones under Jacobo Sabludovsky. As the oldest of five, I was deeply involved in sports and found my stride in swimming after a near-drowning experience. Later, in Santa Fe Springs, I discovered my love for theater and joined the Santa Fe Springs Playhouse, serving on the board and as historian. In 2023, I launched The New Mindset of The Coachella Valley podcast, built on real conversations and life stories. What began as a passion project became a platform for business growth, community, and connection. It also led me to politics, where I now proudly serve as a District Representative in the California State Assembly. My guiding motto: Today is tomorrow’s yesterday—make it golden every day.
