It’s fundamental to the Riverside County Foundation on Aging’s ability to help older adults in need, many of whom are vulnerable, at risk, and may also be homebound. This is to help provide support so they can age with dignity, respect, and independence.
The Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt charity incorporated in 2004, is supported by donations, grants and fundraising events. An annual charity golf tournament is our primary fundraising activity.
We address emerging and urgent needs created by gaps between public funding and the needs of a growing adult population; the Foundation funds and furthers the 27 programs and services offered by the Riverside County Office on Aging, and other new and innovative local government, community and nonprofit efforts that sustain and enhance the quality of life of older adults in the county.
